Eighth Grade Parent Letter

May 17 – 20: Oak Tree Festival (Student volunteers needed)
May 21: Kindergarten/Eighth Grade field trip to the Aquarium of the Pacific
May 27: Memorial Day (No School)
May 28: Eighth Grade Non-uniform Dress begins
May 31: Eighth Grade Parent hours must be completed!
June 3: Altar Servers Disneyland trip
June 6: Academic Awards
June 7: Spring Song Festival
June 10: Eighth Grade Retreat at Glendora Teen Center
June 11: Knott’s Berry Farm trip
June 12: Kindergarten graduation
June 13: Baccalaureate Mass followed by Parent brunch
June 14: Eighth Grade graduation (Dismissal at 12:00 p.m., Pictures at 4:30 p.m., and
Graduation at 5:00 p.m.)
Grade Eight
Eighth Grade. Ms. Sue Sweetman is our 8th Grade homeroom teacher, and the sixth and seventh grades Social Studies and Vocabulary teacher. Ms. Sweetman is also our Vice Principal and Social Studies Coordinator. Ms. Sweetman received her Bachelor of Arts and her Professional Clear California Credential from Cal State University, Long Beach. She received her Law Degree from the University of La Verne. Ms. Sweetman teaches law in the Paralegal programs at Pasadena City College, Mt. San Antonio College and Los Angeles City College.
