In Mind, Body, and Soul!
Dear Parents,
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Thank you to all of those that have been contributing to the Valentine’s Day project. Please send in a volunteer slip if you have not and I will be happy to sign it for all your hard work!
This Wednesday after school, I will begin Study Hour. It will be from 3:15- 4:15 p.m. Any student is welcome to come, but must be on their best behavior. The classroom rules are still enforced during this time. If a child is too disruptive they will be asked to leave and be sent to Day Care to call their parents. This hour is intended to help those that need extra reinforcement: not for those who just want to play and talk with friends.
Fifth Grade. Miss Jaclyn Stephens grew up attending Catholic schools in the Los Angeles Archdiocese. After graduating from Saint Joseph High School in Lakewood, she went on to receive a BA in Liberal Studies emphasizing Ethnic Studies and a Minor in Education from the University of California, Riverside. She then earned a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from Cal State, Fullerton. She has experience working for the public school system, but is excited to be at St. Dotothy to be a part of such a wonderful faith community.
