Thank you very much to the parents who purchased raffle tickets for the Shutterfly album.  We raised enough money to pay for the bus for the Spring field trip.  The Vinski family won the album.  I also want to thank everyone for the wishes on Teacher Appreciation Day. 

We are finishing the discussion of Phantom Tollbooth  Monday, February 6.  The test on the book will be this week.  We will also watch the video and compare it to the book.

 Thank you to everyone that donated a $1.00 or a blanket for the children of St. Bonaventure School in New Mexico.  Mrs. Pohopien will be sending out the blankets this week.  Mrs. Pohopien spoke to the children after last Friday’s Mass about the children of St. Bonaventure School and their need of blankets for the cold winter nights. 

Students researched one company in the computer lab.  They are following the guide they received for the company poster.  They are to use Yahoo finance and their company’s website to find the necessary information.   The actual game will be played from February 13 – April 20.  There is a flyer in each child’s Monday folder this week.
