-- In literature, the students will be reading “The All American Slurp” in the literature books. We will celebrate Chinese New Year on Friday, February 11. The 6th grade students will have a Chinese lunch.
-- In language arts the 6th grade students will be writing their autobiographies. We are starting with the paragraph “A Favorite Childhood Memory”. Students will be writing using the past tense of verbs.
-- The 7th grade is completing Chapter 5 on interpreting graphs.
--The 8th grade is completing section 5, Factoring. The students will be practicing all types of factoring this week. Please continue to search the internet for lessons on factoring polynomials. The test on section 5 will be next week.
