Last school year you were given a survey on how you felt about extending the school year by twenty more days. On the surveys were several other questions. Mr. Bill Hogan was kind enough to tally the answers for me. On Tuesday, November 8th at 7:00 p.m. in the Parish Hall, we will have a meeting and I will go over the results of the survey. Mrs. Dorothy Marquez, computer teacher and Ms. Jean Dalton will give a short presentation on the Computer and Music curriculum. Mrs. Becky Sakovitch, our art teacher, will discuss the art program and show a few samples of the amazing work our students have done. This should be a very informative meeting. PLEASE SAVE THE DATE!
CHRISTMAS TREE AND WREATH SALE EXTENDED TO MONDAY, NOVEMBER 7
You have a few extra days to get your Christmas tree and Wreath orders turned in to the office. All proceeds will go to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association to help find a cure for this devastating disease. You will be helping a great organization and the tree prices are very reasonable.
STUDENTS ON CAMPUS AFTER SCHOOL MUST HAVE ADULT SUPERVISION
We are experiencing problems with students remaining on campus after school unsupervised. Students may not sit and watch their sibling’s after school practices and games without supervision. They MUST check in to Day Care first. Also, if parents are watching a game, the siblings MUST stay with the parents. They cannot wander the campus alone. It is not safe for children to be unsupervised with all the cars and people that enter and leave the school grounds.

DID YOU KNOW? Are you prepared for the “Big One”?
Are you and your kids prepared for the next earthquake? Think about a communications plan for your family. Choose someone who does not live with you (preferably an out-of-town relative or friend) whom you and other family members can contact to check on each other in the event that you are separated during a disaster. Carry that person’s contact information in your purse or wallet. Make sure children know their last name, phone number, address, and number for the out-of-town contact person. Make sure every member of your family knows an alternate route home. If family members can’t get home, designate a meeting place. For particular help, you may call Assistance Ministry at (213) 637-7650.
