TRAFFIC
I continue to see parents not follow our safety rules. I tell parents not to park outside the barriers to drop off or pick up students. Some parents continue to do it. Are we going to do it until a child is hurt or we have a serious accident? PLEASE DO NOT PARK OUTSIDE THE BARRIERS! IT IS NOT SAFE! THIS RULE IS FOR THE SAFETY OF YOUR CHILDREN AND ALL THE OTHER CHILDREN WHO ATTEND ST. DOROTHY SCHOOL!
PERMISSION TO WALK HOME
We must have written permission for a student to walk home or ride a bike home. We have caught students leaving campus who do not have permission. They must have WRITTEN PERMISSION.
What really makes me sad is that not only the students are trying to fool us and not follow the rules, but I am now seeing parents do the same. If you do this, you are not being a good role model. You are conveying the message that the school’s rules do not need to be followed!

SCHOOL BOARD MARKETING COMMITTEE
In early 2011, we are planning to introduce a monthly St. Dorothy Bruin Newsletter to be distributed to all the parish and school families. This newsletter will tell about all the exciting happenings and upcoming events at our school. It is our goal to make this as professional as possible. Thus, we are looking for some parent volunteers with a background in graphic art industry and a family in the printing business that can help us to keep the cost to a minimum. If you can help in either of these areas, please contact Terry Kent at tkent91741@aol.com or cell phone number (626) 755-3098. Thank you in advance for your help.
PRAYERS
We especially ask that you continue to pray for Steve Measer. We pray that Steve continues to get better and overcomes all his medical obstacles.
Please pray for Mr. Hilario Agojo, grandfather of Lauren, grade 7 and Kayla, grade 3.
Please pray for Matthew Pulley in grade 3. He recently had a tonsillectomy.
