Regulation uniform must be worn on all school days beginning the first day of school unless parents are notified otherwise.  Random uniform checks will be done on a weekly basis.  Uniform violations will be given and kept on file.  The third infraction will result in an automatic detention. (See Reasons for Automatic Detention.)

Navy twill long uniform slacks or navy twill walking shorts.  NO P.E. SHORTS.  Long Pants should be worn on cool/cold days, walking shorts should be worn on warm/hot days.

BELTS -  GRADES K-8

Navy or black belts must be worn with pants, slacks or shorts.

BLOUSES FOR PANTS – GRADES K-8

a)   Current white short sleeved blouse
White or light blue oxford long/short sleeved blouse
White or light blue polo knit shirts with St. Dorothy logo
Blouses and polo shirts are to be tucked in at all times.

SHOES - GRADES K-8

Mandatory Saddle Shoes – hard soled or Keds School Days II – soft soled..  Shoes must be black/white or navy/white.

SOCKS - GRADES K-8   (SOLID NAVY, BLACK OR WHITE) MUST BE  WORN AT  ALL TIMES AND MUST BE 3 INCHES ABOVE THE TOP/RIM OF THE SHOE)

a)    Anklets  (NO short ¼ length ankle socks or peds).
b)    knee hi’s
c)          tights (these are NOT to be worn with  shorts)

Leggings are NOT ALLOWED

SOLID black, white or navy shoes with a visible arch support.  No skateboarding shoes, roller tennis shoes, or shoes with flat soles.
