The purpose of the School Board shall be to advice those responsible for the administration of St. Dorothy School, within the policies of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.

 

The Board shall provide effective communication among school patrons, the parish at large and the school, to bring a close relationship in the interest of children and youth.  The Board will advise in establishing policies.

 

The Board will represent school patrons in matters pertaining to the variety and character of the school programs.  The Board will make recommendations concerning budget planning and will assist in planning and/or modification of the school plant.

 

The School Board ordinarily meets each month during the school year.  Proposed agenda items are to be submitted to the president or school office prior to the School Board meeting, which is ordinarily scheduled on the second Tuesday of each month.
