Principal's Message
As principal of St. Dorothy Catholic School, I am both humbled and excited to continue our tradition as champions of student achievement for over 60 years. Since my start as a teacher at St. Dorothy in 2016 I've witnessed a vibrant community invested in the continued success of both our school and church. As a product of Catholic schools myself, I can personally attest to the multiple benefits of receiving a quality education in an environment that is centered in faith and full of caring individuals who care not just for the academic success of the child but for their moral well-being while on campus and for the rest of their lives. I am honored to serve in a Catholic school and in this community as we work together to live out our personal mission to educate TK-Eighth grade students in a Catholic environment in which the curriculum emphasizes spiritual, ethical, and social values of the Catholic faith to become responsible and moral citizens within the global community.
I would like to thank all current and former Bruin families for choosing St. Dorothy Catholic School and for your investment in Catholic education. In my time as principal I will work tirelessly to continue the tradition of excellence and caring service for both you and all of our future students. To any families considering making St. Dorothy your home, I would love to speak with you personally and invite you to visit our beautiful campus in the foothills of Glendora so that you can see for yourself what it means to be Bruin!
Finally, I would like to thank all of our teachers and staff for their continued commitment to our students and the community of St. Dorothy Catholic School. I admire your talents and caring hearts and am honored to work with you every day!
Sincerely,
Mr. Ryan Nearhoff, M.Ed.
Principal
