St. Dorothy’s Catholic School is blessed with a dedicated and active Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO). The purpose of this group is to promote a parent-teacher relationship that enhances the principles of the Catholic education process, to support general school activities and community relationships, to organize and direct fundraising events for the school, and to act as a liaison between parents and the school.

The main functions of the PTO are to raise funds for the school's current operational expenses, promote parental support for the school program, and increase mutual understanding between school and parents.

The membership of the PTO shall include the pastor, the principal, the parents or legal guardians, and the faculty of the school.

Financial operation of the PTO shall be governed by the regulations for financial operations as outlined in the PTO Bylaws.
